International Tigers Day Celebration
The majestic tiger is one of the endangered animals today. The tiger count was decreasing rapidly. International Tiger Day is celebrated to raise awareness for tiger conservation, held annually on 29 July. It was created in 2010 at the Saint Petersburg Tiger Summit. It aims at promoting a global system for protecting the natural habitats of tigers and to raise public awareness and support for tiger conservation issues.
Hyderabad Tiger Conservation Society (HyTiCoS) a voluntary organization working exclusively for Conservation of Tigers in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana organized an awareness programme on 27th July 2019, at KBR National Park, Hyderabad. Nasr Boys School was invited to the programme. The students of Nasr Nature Club, Media Club and Tourism Club participated with great enthusiasm.
