At the ICSE & ISC Regional Karate Competition held at the Indian Blossom International School, Ongole, the Nasr Boys School Karate Team swept the medals in a scintillating display of martial prowess.

The team won 4 gold medals, 2 silver medals and a bronze to bring their tally to 7 medals.

Team kata comprising of Master Mohd Irfan, Master Abdul Aziz and Master Abdullah secured gold medals, as did Syed Shah Humaiduddin in the individual category.

U/17 Kumite category  Master Karthik, Master Chetty Kaushik won the Silver, and Master Yousuf  Khan won the bronze.

Karate taining is a part of the sports curriculum at Nasr Boys and many Nasr karatekas have distinguished themselves at various sports meets.

The boys train under Coach V. Ravindra Kumar, Blackl Belt 7^th Dan.
