Parasailing is one fun activity that every adventure junkie would love to experience. This fun sport activity involves a person with a parasail wing attached to them, towed behind a boat a moving car or a truck. The first ascending and easy gliding kind of parachute was made by Pierre-Marcel Lemoigne in 1962. The ascending-gliding parachute was trade-named as parasail when Jaques-Andre bought the licence to manufacture them in 1963.
Nasr Boys School students had a fun flying in the air, with the help of a parasail.
The activity was conducted by the school, to allow the students to overcome their fear and engage in an activity that helped them to develop confidence and self-reliance. Students from Class I onwards participated in the activity with enthusiasm
Parasailing is an adventure sport that allows one to be airborne with the help of a colorful parachute which is linked to a vehicle and after jogging for a few steps, you get airborne to the height of about 50 feet. The activity took place under the supervision of Squadron Leader S.P.S. Kaushik, an ex-Army man.
It is necessary that students are exposed to various activities to help develop in them the skills to face challenges and increase their self-worth. It also helps in learning and acquire good grades.
